Privacy Policy

Who we are: someting is a brand of Fyash Lifestyle Private Limited, India, and this policy covers someting.in. When we say "we" or "us", we mean Fyash Lifestyle Private Limited. We sell online only.

What you give us when you order: your name, phone number, delivery address and pincode, your email address if you add one, and what you buy. If you create an account we also keep your saved addresses, wishlist and order history. Your password is stored scrambled (hashed), never as plain text. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us.

What we collect as you browse: a first-party cookie gives each visitor a random session ID, which we use to count page views, keep your cart and understand which pages people use. If you type your email or phone number at checkout, we save it with your cart so we can send a reminder if you leave without finishing. Your cart, wishlist and recently viewed pieces are also kept in your own browser's storage.

Analytics and advertising tools: when they are switched on, Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel record how the site is used — pages viewed, items added to cart, checkouts and purchases — along with device, browser and approximate location details. For purchases, we may also send Meta your contact details in scrambled (hashed) form so it can measure our adverts; they never leave our servers in readable form.

Why we use it: to take and deliver your order, send order and shipping updates by email and WhatsApp, answer your questions, handle replacements and exchanges, prevent fraud, keep the accounting and tax records the law requires, remind you about a cart you left behind or ask for a review, and understand what is working on the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Payments: online payments are handled by our payment partner, Razorpay or Cashfree. Your card, UPI and bank details go straight to them over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking password — we only receive confirmation of whether the payment went through.

Who we share it with: the courier that delivers your parcel (your name, phone number and address); our payment partner; the service that sends our emails; the companies that host our website and data; Google and Meta for the analytics and advert measurement described above; and government authorities when Indian law requires it. Each of them gets only what they need for that job.

Reviews: if you post a product review, it appears on the site with the name on your account.

How long we keep it: order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Everything else is kept only as long as we need it for the reasons above.

Cookies: we use a small number of cookies — one for your browsing session and cart, one to keep you signed in, and, where switched on, those set by Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the shop still works, though you may need to sign in again.

Security: the whole site runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to run the shop.

Your choices and rights: you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data (we may still have to keep order records the law requires). You can also ask us to stop sending you reminder or review emails at any time. Children: the shop is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please shop with a parent or guardian.
